Brandon Wade Hardesty

1986 - 2021

Tulsa, Oklahoma

Brandon Wade Hardesty passed away from this life on Wednesday, June 30, 2021, at the age of 34.

Brandon was born August 17, 1986, to Charles and Rebecca Hardesty in Miami, Oklahoma.  He and Andrea Taylor were married in 2012 and had recently celebrated their 9th anniversary.

Brandon was a 2003 graduate from the University of North Dakota’s Division of Independent Study. He went on to graduate from Tulsa Community College with a degree in Graphic Design, and received his Bachelor’s degree in Art History from Oklahoma State University in 2011.

Brandon worked for F.C. Ziegler Co. as an IT Specialist, but helped with multiple projects throughout the company for over six years, where he made many close friends.

Brandon was a happy, intelligent person that loved to invent, learn new things, play video games, cook and he loved the outdoors. He was always willing to help others in anyway he could and would frequently put others’ needs ahead of his own.

In addition to his wife, Andrea and his parents, Charles, and Rebecca, he is survived by his grandmother June Dodd, in-laws, Doug and Lisa Taylor, Rachel and Seyi Thomas, and Zach and Emma Taylor.  He was particularly close to his uncle and aunt, Bob and Diana Martin as well as his cousin Aaron and Korrine Martin. He also had many uncles and aunts, and close friends that will miss him.  There are no words to describe the sudden and unexpected loss that we have experienced and the emptiness that will forever be in our hearts and lives.  We love and miss you Brandon

I met Brandon online playing games together when I first moved to Tulsa a few years ago. He was my friend, someone who I'm proud to have had the honor to have known. I hope his family will find peace and know Brandon was loved by all who knew him. I wish I could have gotten the chance to learn more from him. He was a good teacher in marital arts... taught me lots. Love you buddy. I hope wherever you are you can find peace there and maybe one day we can train again like before.

I didn't know you well - or for very long, Brandon - but I will miss your amused voice at the other end of the phone line, each time I called for IT help. May you fly on Angel's wings to your next chapter. Blessings. Kandace @ Moroneys'

Brandon was on of my closest friends. He helped me through different hardships from homework to home help. He was always there for me. My friends and I held a toast in his honor. He really did put his friends and family before himself. Even on the busiest of days, he would make time to take care of his friends. I will forever be lucky to call Brandon a friend. May he rest peacefully, he deserves it.

I always thought Brandon had a photographic memory, although he denied it. In casual conversation he could repeat statistics that were baffling that anyone could retain that information, and it could be on most any topic. He was always happy to help those of us who needed his IT expertise and did so quickly and with joy. He had a wide range of interests and was passionate about them. We will be miss him in so many ways and his loss will be felt throughout all aspects of the company. Our fondness, admiration and prayers go with you, dear Brandon. God’s peace for your family.
